Rick Valencia - CEO

Rick Valencia is the president and chief executive officer of HCL Expense Management Services. He is the visionary behind the company's drive towards building a global powerhouse in technology enabled services. Rick possesses over 25 years of company building and leadership experience. He is known as an innovator and is one of the early pioneers of the Telecom Expense Management Industry. Prior to joining HCL Expense Management Services, Rick founded ProfitLine in 1992, serving as its CEO for 15 years and board chairman since its first round of venture capital funding in 2001 until October 2009. He grew that company into a multi-million dollar industry leader with dozens of large enterprise and government clients. Earlier in his career, Rick created, built and ran several technology enabled service businesses. He was a partner and co-owner of ACI Investments, a commercial brokerage and investment firm; and before that founded InterLink, a database matching service for buyers and sellers of real estate. Rick earned his B.S. in business administration/finance from California State University, Northridge.

In addition to his impeccable business acumen, Rick is also a dedicated community philanthropist. He was recognized as the 2008 Big Brothers Big Sisters Person of the Year. For nearly two decades Rick has worked to generate his community's involvement and awareness of the mentorship concept.

Don Denmead - SVP Service Delivery

Don has been with HCL Expense Management for 9 years. He is responsible for the Service Delivery function which includes client relationship management, account management and customer satisfaction. Don also has more than 22 years of experience in the field of TEM, carrier relations and cost consulting . Prior to joining HCL, Don managed cost and carrier management functions at MCI including supporting the relationships with SBC, Nynex, Bell Atlantic and GTE.

Don holds an AA in Accounting Information Systems and a BA in Commuincations from Pace University.

Steve DeLuca - VP Operations

Steve has been with HCL Expense Management for 6 years and has more than 16 years of experience in the telecom industry. During his tenure at HCL, Steve has served in leadership roles in Account Management, Audit, and Invoice and Content Management. Steve manages the teams that are responsible for Content Management ( receipt, entry and loading of our clients' telecom invoices into our custom systems) and Invoice Management (validation, allocation and distribution of invoices to our clients Accounts Payable systems). Prior to HCL, Steve spent 10 years with MCI, now Verizon Business, in their Telco Cost and Network Financial Management Systems divisions.

Steve has a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan and an MBA with a concentration in Information Systems from Georgia State University.
