Executive Team – Control Point SolutionsBob McMullan, Chief Executive Officer Bob McMullan brings more than 20 years of executive leadership, strategic vision, operational management and merger and acquisition experience to Control Point Solutions. Bob’s previous achievements include the transformation of small private companies owned by top ten private equity firms into international, $500 million revenue and billion dollar publicly traded companies that delivered exceptional cash and investment returns to the investors. Bob was Chief Financial Officer for the fourth ranked company on the 2000 Bloomberg Tech 100 list of fastest growing companies. Throughout his career, Bob exceeded all operating performance, capital raising and growth objectives for each company. Bob’s recent experience includes Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Conexant Systems, Inc. (following the merger with GlobespanVirata, Inc.), Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of GlobespanVirata Inc. (following the merger of GlobeSpan, Inc. and Virata Corporation), each leading communications semiconductor companies. Prior to Conexant, Bob was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of The BISYS Group, Inc., a BPO solutions provider to the financial services industry where he also shared divisional general manager responsibilities and Vice President of Montchanin Management Corporation, an investment banking firm specializing in middle market merger and acquisition and corporate finance advisory services. Bob is a graduate of Saint Michael’s College in Vermont. John Kavak, Chief Information Officer John Kavak manages and directs system development, information technology and network infrastructure for Control Point Solutions. John has more than 20 years in IT leadership positions and has been a client of multiple telecommunication expense management (TEM) BPO providers. John was Vice President of Information Systems for Conexant Systems, Inc., heading up the worldwide IT organization supporting 2,400 employees in 63 locations and 15 countries. John also held a similar position at GlobespanVirata, prior to its merger with Conexant Systems, Inc. John’s experience also includes network and information technology roles at Bern Communications, AT&T Lucent Technologies and Nobel International. John earned a BS in electrical engineering and is a graduate of Rutgers University. Bob Effenberger, Senior Vice President , Invoice Management and Audit Bob Effenberger currently leads the Invoice Management and Audit Departments for Control Point Solutions. He is responsible for the delivery of these services from three operations centers nationwide – Rutherford NJ, St. Louis MO, and Alpharetta GA. With 15 years combined experience from the telecommunications and TEM industries, Bob brings to this role knowledge of local, long distance, wireless, and telecommunications billing. Previous senior leadership roles within TEM include Audit, Invoice Processing, Call Accounting, Sales, and Account Management. Prior to working within the TEM industry, Bob worked for AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon Wireless. Jonathan Ladov, Senior Vice President , Account Management Jonathan Ladov leads the account management team for Control Point Solutions and is responsible for client service and growth within our existing client base. Jonathan has held various operational and customer-oriented leadership positions with McCaw Cellular/Cellular One, AT&T Wireless, and Nextel Communications and brings more than 17 years of telecom experience to his role. During his tenure at AT&T Wireless Services, one of his achievements included leading the project management team that launched their Philadelphia, Boston and Washington, D.C. wireless markets. As Nextel’s Director of National Care Support, Jonathan led the team tasked with driving process standardization, thereby reducing costs by $27m annually, increasing customer satisfaction and enabling Nextel to consolidate from seven billing platforms to one. Jonathan is a graduate of Ithaca College. Don Denmead, Senior Vice President of Operations Planning and Reporting Don Denmead is currently responsible for account planning, performance analysis and reporting, product development, and quality control. At Control Point Solutions he has held various management positions covering both enterprise and carrier markets Don has over 20 years telecom experience in telecom cost management, consulting, outsourcing carrier relations, dispute resolution and negotiations. He has held positions at MCI in telecom sales, sales support, telcom cost auditing, accounting and analysis, management of telcom cost functions and carrier management functions supporting MCI’s efforts with SBC, Bell Atlantic, NYNEX, SNET, Bell South and GTE. He was deeply involved in user testing and development of automated audit telcom systems Don has both an associates degree in Accounting Information Systems and a BA in Liberal Arts (with a concentration in Literature) from Pace University. John Wells, Senior Vice President, Implementation and Content Management John Wells leads a team of experienced and dedicated personnel who project manage, configure, load, and test each new client instance according to the client’s requirements. On a recurring basis his team interacts with the telecommunications vendors on behalf of our clients to optimize invoice media, receive files, load invoice data, scan manual invoice images onto our proprietary WEB portal, and manages the logistics of storing/forwarding physical media to the client. John brings more than 25 years of management experience to Control Point Solutions, His early career years were spent working for Bell Laboratories during AT&T’s pre-divestiture era where he served on one of the management teams planning for the divesture and creation of Bellcore/Telcordia. Later, he worked for Lucent Technologies in their Global Project Management Organization. His background includes business experience and process re-engineering for U.S. domestic organizations, as well as international businesses in Europe, Asia, and Latin America. John’s executive training includes courses at Duke University, The University of Georgia, The European Institute – Maastricht, and the Brookings Institution in Washington, DC where he served as a Congressional Fellow for the U.S. House of Representatives. John holds a BS degree from King’s College.
